Download the Open Grid Public Beta Client

You can do this here for the three major operating systems:

• Windows XP/Vista
• Mac OSX
• Linux

This client was developed by Linden Lab for the Open Grid Public Beta program. In order to connect to the Linden Lab Agent Domain you need to apply for the public beta program. More information can be found here.

After you have downloaded the client please install it.

Change the loginuri of the client

Per default the client will connect to the Agent Domain provided by Linden Lab. In order to change this you have to start the client with an additional parameter. Click on the instructions for your operating system to learn how to do this:

Create a syntronik.de account

In order to use this Agent Domain you need to register an account. You can do so here.

Login to the Open Grid Protocol enabled metaverse!

Just start the client as described in the operating specific instructions above. In the region field enter one of the URLs listed here (but remove any trailing slashes). You can also use the COM.lounge region which can be found at http://plonetv.de:9000
